LJUBLJANA, July 2 (Hina) - Slovenia's Foreign Minister Dimitrij
Rupel on Tuesday said that sovereign access to the international

Croatia. #L#
Rupel was quoted by the Slovenian news agency (STA) as saying at a
meeting of business people in Kopar that he expected the
continuation of dialogue with Croatia on open issues and that he
wrote to his Croatian counterpart Tonino Picula about it a few days
ago.
At the meeting in the Slovenian biggest seaport Rupel described
Kopar as the country's pearl and said that "by sovereign navigation
and access to the international waters we defend the key component
of the state."
In this context Rupel pointed how important for Slovenia's economy
was a border agreement with Croatia.
"Croatia is an evident partner of Slovenia and it's high time we
resumed dialogue on open issues," Rupel was quoted by the STA as
saying.
