Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Vesna Cvjetkovic-Kurelec and her
Bosnian counterparts Ivica Misic and Milovan Blagojevic discussed
preparations for the meeting in Sarajevo on Wednesday. They said an
agreement on cooperation in combating terrorism and drug smuggling
and abuse might be signed at the meeting.
Also prepared for the Sarajevo meeting will be an agreement on joint
border crossing locations, amendments to an agreement on legal
assistance in civil and criminal issues, and an annexe to an
agreement on the stimulation and protection of investments, the
Bosnian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The annexe should expand the application of the investment
stimulation and protection agreement to include Croatia besides
the Bosnian Federation.
During the stay in Sarajevo, Croatia's Cvjetkovic-Kurelec met the
international High Representative for Bosnia, Paddy Ashdown.
Ashdown said the future development of Bosnia's relations with its
neighbours would depend on the establishment of a single economic
area in the country.
