stated on Monday night.#L#
Upon returning from a visit to Macedonia where along with a Sabor
delegation he met with the highest political figures in Macedonia,
Tomcic responded to a question about the latest crisis in the ruling
coalition. He said that the situation that occurred a few days ago
points to the fact that there is less manoeuvring space for joint
work.
He added that following a meeting of the Croatian Peasants' Party
(HSS) on Tuesday he would be able to say whether the coalition can
manage to drag itself out of yet another crisis.
Asked about a possible solution to come out of the crisis, Tomcic
said that several solutions existed. One of them, according to
Tomcic is the return of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) in
a proper manner, the second is for the coalition to remain with four
parties and the third is an early election and there are some other
solutions that may be opted for he said. He emphasised that at the
moment he did not prefer any of these and was afraid of the option of
six - five - four, wondering where it could go in the end.
