ZAGREB, June 7 (Hina) - President of the Croatian parliament Zlatko Tomcic on Friday received representatives of the Alliance of Associations of Unemployed in Croatia with whom he discussed ways to establish partner relations between
the unemployed and government authorities.

to establish partner relations between the unemployed and

Tomcic said that the main problem faced by the unemployed was that
Croatia's economy did not have a developmental momentum.
By establishing partner-like relations between the unemployed and
the parliament and government, it will be easier to distribute
funds earmarked for social welfare to assist the unemployed more
justly, Tomcic said.
The president of the alliance, Miroslav Levakovic, said that they
had spoken to Tomcic and criticised the ruling coalition because it
had done too little for the unemployed and to set the economy on the
move.
Levakovic criticised MPs because the money spent to cover their
travel costs was equal to two or three salaries for someone.
The meeting was also attended by the president of the parliament's
Committee for Labour, Social Policies and Health, Snjezana Biga
Friganovic.
The committee, she said, was interested in additional information
on unemployment and MPs wished to received feedback about the
