The HDZ Central Committee dissolved the organisation earlier this
month and annulled an election convention without having the
party's Presidency discuss it, said Ante Zoricic, HDZ Youth
chairman.
The HDZ Youth, which is believed to favour HDZ's Ivic Pasalic, has
accused HDZ president Ivo Sanader of using the services of Prime
Minister Ivica Racan and President Stjepan Mesic to square accounts
with certain HDZ members, in attempts to oust them from the party
and introduce dictatorship.
Zoricic urged Sanader to recognise the results of the HDZ election
convention and stop harassing the HDZ Youth, which Zoricic said had
been and remained the youth of former HDZ and Croatian president
Franjo Tudjman.
