protested against a statement made by Stability Pact for South
Eastern Europe coordinator Erhard Busek to the effect that it was

Kosovo started to gain shape. #L#
The ministry said the status of Kosovo was the exclusive
jurisdiction of the UN Security Council, and that Busek should not
make such statements.
The ministry recalled that the UN Security Council Resolution 1244
contained a regulation on the sovereignty and territorial
integrity of Yugoslavia.
Yugoslavia maintains that Busek's statement is contrary to bids
aimed at the further bolstering of peace and stability in the
region, the ministry said.
