PRISTINA, May 23 (Hina) - The UN Civil Administrator in Kosovo, Michael Steiner, on Thursday proclaimed a resolution on the protection of the territorial integrity of Kosovo as invalid. The resolution negates the validity of an
agreement on the demarcation line between Yugoslavia and Macedonia as well as the Haekkerup-Covic joint document, UNMIK spokesman Simon Haselock told journalists on Thursday.

Michael Steiner, on Thursday proclaimed a resolution on the
protection of the territorial integrity of Kosovo as invalid. The
resolution negates the validity of an agreement on the demarcation
line between Yugoslavia and Macedonia as well as the Haekkerup-
Covic joint document, UNMIK spokesman Simon Haselock told

The resolution was adopted on Thursday in the Kosovo parliament
with 85 votes.
In line with his authority, Steiner annulled the resolution only
ten minutes after it had been voted on, Haselock said.
Kosovo MPs continued with their session and Serb MP's returned to
the parliament hall after walking out as the vote was being taken.
