Customs officers will get a 10-20 percent wage supplement, the
government decided today, assessing that this decision removed the
reasons for a strike the officers had gone on today.
The union's presidency, however, decided the warning strike would
resume as planned.
After the strike, the presidency will invite the government to
negotiations. The union reported it was very satisfied with today's
white strike, particularly with the professional and dignified
conduct of the customs officers.
