ZAGREB, June 14 (Hina) - The French-Croatian Chamber of Commerce held its first management meeting in Zagreb on Friday, with business people from several French and Croatian companies present.

This was the first chamber meeting since the constituting session
in Paris on April 12. The headquarters of the chamber is in Paris. It
was established with the aim of promoting economic cooperation and
bilateral relations between the two countries.
Croatia Airlines director general Ivan Misetic said that the
company had, together with its French partners, given an initiative
to establish the chamber of commerce with the aim of the
organisation's support to the cooperation and the development of
wider economic relations.
He added that French partners, besides placing their goods on the
Croatian market, were interested in capital investments in
Croatia.
French companies who achieved full membership in the chamber are
Airbus Industrie, SNECMA, Accor, Mitra Aviation and others, and
Croatian companies are Croatia Airlines and Exportdrvo, which have
representation offices in France.
