Talic and Brdjanin are charged with genocide committed in the
north-western parts of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Randal, a Washington Post reporter, previously gave a statement to
prosecutors about a 1993 interview he made with Brdjanin, former
head of the Bosnian Serb crisis management centre in the Bosanska
Krajina region. Later he refused to testify before the trial
chamber, claiming that journalists should enjoy some sort of
immunity.
The prosecutors believe that the interview spoke about Brdjanin's
intention of cleansing said area of non-Serbs.
