ZAGREB, June 13 (Hina) - Croatian Vice-Premier Zeljka Antunovic and
Deputy Foreign Minister Vesna Cvjetkovic Kurelec on Thursday spoke
with a Yugoslav delegation led by the federal minister for national
and ethnic communities, Rasim Ljajic, about cooperation in the
protection of minorities. #L#
The foreign ministry reported that the two sides agreed on the
further normalisation of relations between the two countries in a
number of issues that were until recently open, especially in the
area of minority protection.
They agreed that the work on an agreement on the protection of
minorities should be srepped up.
The two sides also spoke about the national legislation regulating
the rights of minorities and a draft constitutional law on the
rights of national minorities in Croatia, the ministry said.
