Labus is in Zagreb attending a World Trade Organisation regional
conference.
Mesic and Labus pointed to the importance of liberalising the visa
regime. Mesic said the normalisation of relations between Zagreb
and Belgrade was important as well, among else, as a form of
Croatian assistance to Yugoslavia's rapprochement with the
European Union, Mesic's Office said in a statement.
Speaking about the difficulties encountered by his government,
Labus pointed to the need of facing the past which he said was
crucial for paving the way for new relations in the region.
