THE HAGUE, June 11 (Hina) - Croatian Vice Premier Goran Granic on
Tuesday afternoon arrived in the Hague-based UN war crimes tribunal
to meet the ICTY Chief Prosecutor. Granic is accompanied by Justice
Minister Ingrid Anticevic Marinovic, Head State Prosecutor Milan
Bajic and his deputy Petar Puliselic and the head of the office for
cooperation with the ICTY, Orsat Miljenic. #L#
During the visit of ICTY Chief Prosecutor Carla del Ponte to Croatia
in May, Granic and del Ponte agreed that the ICTY would hand to
Croatia all evidence at its disposal against some indictees who
will be tried before Croatian courts.
During her stay in Croatia, del Ponte announced that the indictment
against the former leader of rebel Serbs, Milan Martic, would be
extended to other crimes committed in Croatia during the war.
