The daily cites statements by Slovene Environment Minister Janez
Kopac and State Undersecretary at the Economy Ministry, Olga
Marinko.
"On May 8 the Croatian side was shown Slovenia's minimum requests
and if Croatia continues to linger, we will be forced to use other
measures we have in line with the energy charter, meaning filing a
law suit," Kopac wrote in a letter to the energy charter
secretariat, Delo writes.
The daily says that Kopac's letter is also a response to Croatian
Economy Minster Hrvoje Vojkovic.
The Slovene Foreign Ministry told Delo that the government would
soon be discussing further steps regarding the oil dispute with
Croatia.
The Slovene government has requested for Swiss regulations
pertaining to the transport of oil and hazardous substances by
road, since Croatian officials have been stating that the
regulations Croatia passed at the beginning of the year are similar
to Swiss regulations.
