ZAGREB, May 31 (Hina) - Minimal living expenses for a family of four in Croatia in May dropped by 2.5 percent in relation to April, according to a consumer goods basket of the Independent Trade Unions of Croatia (NHS). Costs are
highest in Dubrovnik and lowest in Zagreb.

in Croatia in May dropped by 2.5 percent in relation to April,
according to a consumer goods basket of the Independent Trade
Unions of Croatia (NHS). Costs are highest in Dubrovnik and lowest

Minimal expenses for food, hygiene, clothing, accommodation,
transport and culture reached 7,073 kuna in Dubrovnik, 6,757 in
Split, 6,743 in Osijek, 6,711 in Rijeka and 6,471 kuna in Zagreb.
The basket excludes the costs of education, personal care, health,
vacation and sport activities.
According to the latest report of the Central Bureau of Statistics,
the average net wage in Croatia amounts to 3,622 kuna which covers
53.6 percent of the monthly living expenses for a family of four.
