Djukanovic said that he was convinced that the information about
his involvement in smuggling and organised crime would prove to be
just hot wind.
"I would be surprised if one day were to pass by without certain
circles in Italy launching some similar shifty information with the
aim of discrediting Montenegro and myself as the country's
president," Djukanovic said.
Montenegro's Foreign Minister on Thursday officially requested a
full report on the information that an investigation had been
initiated against the Montenegrin president so that the
prosecution in both countries could shed more light on the
situation.
