The witness, who lives in Germany, had been sent a subpoena via
Interpol.
According to witnesses, Bando, a commander of the military police
in Gospic in 1991, was personally participating in the abduction of
civilians from Karlobag.
At today's trial, retired Croatian Army non-commissioned officer
Ivica Cacic took the witness. He denied claims that he was present
in Karlobag in October, when the abduction and murder of three
Karlobag residents took place.
