ZAGREB, April 4 (Hina) - A joint working group including representatives of all union federations, government and employers should draw up proposals for changes to the Labour Act within 15 days and submit them to the social partners
for consideration, Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic said on Thursday. Granic participated in Wednesday's session of the Economic-Social Council (GSV) on this issue.

representatives of all union federations, government and employers
should draw up proposals for changes to the Labour Act within 15
days and submit them to the social partners for consideration,
Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic said on Thursday. Granic
participated in Wednesday's session of the Economic-Social Council

The deputy prime minister expects that along with the proposals for
changes to the Labour Act the group will adopt other measures for
increasing competition of the Croatian economy and achieving a
seven-percent growth rate.
Prime Minister Ivica Racan and Granic have confirmed the
government's orientation towards negotiations with the social
partners and hope for an agreement on optimal measures for
development and higher growth rates.
