ZAGREB, April 5 (Hina) - Belgium's KBC, Bank Austria Creditanstalt (which is part of the HVB banking group) and Erste Bank from Vienna have offered between 23 and 50 million euros for an 85 percent share in Rijecka Banka and between
60 and 100 million euros for the bank's recapitalisation. Since the offers are very good, the management of the State Agency for the Insurance of Savings Deposits and Bank Rehabilitation (DAB) could not make a final decision on the new owner of Rijecka Banka on Friday.

This was stated by DAB management member Goran Granic after the
session of the DAB management. Negotiations with the bidders, at
which elements of the bids, some of which refer to confirming the
established bank loss (estimated at USD98 million), will be
discussed, are to be held at the beginning of next week, Granic
said. The final decision on the new majority owner of Rijecka Banka
will most probably be known at the end of next week, Granic said.
