ZAGREB, May 3 (Hina) - During Labour Day holidays, between May 28 and May 1, 82,270 tourists were staying along the Adriatic coast, which is 14 percent less than in the same period the year before.

The largest number of tourists stayed in Istria, namely 34,832
tourists or 20 percent less than in 2001. The number of tourists in
Kvarner, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and Lika-Senj County
amounted to 16,974 tourist or 33 percent less than the year before.
The number of tourists in Dalmatia increased by 14 percent as
against the year before. The number of tourists in all Dalmatian
counties amounted to 30,464.
The number of tourists in Zagreb amounted to 2,182 which is 20
percent less than in 2001.
