relieved Radovan Ortynski of chief state prosecutor duties on Wednesday, not based on his resignation but Article 55 of the Law on the State Prosecutor's Office, which refers to dismissal for failure to execute legal authorities. This means Ortynski will not be able to stay at the State Prosecutor's Office. The decision was made after the parliamentary majority adopted an amendment moved by the ruling coalition's five parties to relieve Ortynski of duty under said law and not the resignation he tendered previously. Ortynski will thus "have to look for a new job," as Mato Arlovic of the Social Democrats said on Monday on behalf of the ruling coalition.
