BELGRADE, April 22 (Hina) - An ex-Yugoslav army (JNA) officer, Vladimir Kovacevic, charged by the Hague tribunal with war crimes committed in southern Croatia's Dubrovnik area in 1991, contacted the Belgrade district court later last
week, court president Vida Petrovic told the Beta news agency on Monday.
BELGRADE, April 22 (Hina) - An ex-Yugoslav army (JNA) officer,
Vladimir Kovacevic, charged by the Hague tribunal with war crimes
committed in southern Croatia's Dubrovnik area in 1991, contacted
the Belgrade district court later last week, court president Vida
Petrovic told the Beta news agency on Monday. #L#
Kovacevic was informed the court had still not received the Hague
indictments and that he would be notified about the further course
of action, said Petrovic.
The Yugoslav Justice Ministry has announced it will deliver the
Hague indictments to competent district courts on Monday and
Tuesday.
The deadline the Yugoslav government gave indictees to surrender
expired at noon today.
