BELGRADE, April 20 (Hina) - Several persons indicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), whose names were announced by the Yugoslav government, have contacted the Federal Justice Ministry regarding
their surrender to the Hague-based tribunal, Yugoslav assistant Justice Minister Nebojsa Sarkic said on Saturday.
BELGRADE, April 20 (Hina) - Several persons indicted by the
International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY),
whose names were announced by the Yugoslav government, have
contacted the Federal Justice Ministry regarding their surrender
to the Hague-based tribunal, Yugoslav assistant Justice Minister
Nebojsa Sarkic said on Saturday.#L#
According to Belgrade's radio B-92, the Yugoslav Justice Minister
said that all those who surrender by noon Monday could count on
state guarantees.
Assistant Minister Sarkic confirmed the information that the
indictees could surrender my noon Monday.
Today's issue of Belgrade's daily "Blic" said that retired general
Dragoljub Ojdanic, who commanded Yugoslav Army forces during their
1998-99 Kosovo campaign, is ready to go the Hague sometime to face
UN war crimes charges.
