BELGRADE, April 15 (Hina) - The spokesman for the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), Branko Ruzic, at a news conference on Monday dismissed information released yesterday that party official Nikola Sainovic, indicted for war crimes by
the UN war crimes tribunal (ICTY), was negotiating with the authorities on his surrender to the ICTY. He said the same for Dragoljub Ojdanic, who, according to Belgrade media, said he expected a subpoena and that he was ready to surrender to the court, a domestic or the ICTY, considering the fact that the parliament had adopted a law on cooperation with the ICTY. Speaking about Sainovic, the SPS spokesman said this was planted by the Serbian government public relations office "to cover up the shameful adoption of the law on cooperation with the ICTY and the tragic suicides of former Interior Minister Vlajko Stojiljkovic and federal Health Minister Moidrag Kovac."(hina) it
