ZAGREB, Feb 27 (Hina) - Yugoslavia will hand over to Croatia on March 21 the remains of 12 persons who were buried on its territory during the 1990s war, the head of the Croatian government's office for detained and missing persons,
Ivan Grujic, and the president of Yugoslavia's commission for missing persons, Maksim Korac, said in Zagreb on Wednesday after a two-day meeting. These people were identified after Yugoslavia last year handed over protocols for 24 out of a total of 87 unidentified persons buried at a Novi Sad cemetery during the war. Croatia is looking for 1,392 and Yugoslavia for 503 persons. Relatives of Croatian Serbs who fled to Yugoslavia listed 2,701 as gone missing during the Homeland War.
