MOSTAR, Feb 21 (Hina) - The Justice Ministry of the Bosnian Federation confirmed on Thursday that earlier this week the UN war crimes tribunal at The Hague had given courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina the consent to initiate proceedings
against 62 war crimes suspects. Lists with the names of 62 suspects have immediately been forwarded to prosecutor's offices in Sarajevo, Mostar, Zenica, Travnik, and Bihac, the federal Deputy Justice Minister, Sahbaz Dzihanovic, told Hina on the telephone. He said the lists include suspects from all three Bosnian peoples, and that each suspect was charged solely on individual responsibility. Dzihanovic announced the possibility of other lists of suspects from the tribunal. Police officials said, on condition of anonymity, that those among the 62 suspects who refused to comply with summonses for court hearings might be arrested.(hina) ha
