THE HAGUE, Feb 12 (Hina) - Former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic, whom the UN war crimes tribunal (ICTY) indicted for genocide in Bosnia and crimes against humanity in Croatia and Kosovo, went on trial on Monday. The trial,
chaired by judge Richard May, began at 9.30AM. In an opening statement, ICTY Prosecutor Carla del Ponte said Milosevic's trial was based on individual responsibility and added the trial was not against any nation. The collective guilt is not a part of this case, del Ponte said.(hina) it
