SARAJEVO, Feb 21 (Hina) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia-
Herzegovina has not adopted new regulations on the quality of oil
imports but will probably do so in the next 30 days, the Minister of
Civil Affairs and Communications, Svetozar Mihajlovic, said in
Sarajevo on Thursday.
Speaking at a news conference, Mihajlovic dismissed claims in some
media that the new regulations have already been adopted and will go
into force once they are published in the National Gazette.
"Such regulations have not been adopted but they will be adopted
once the Foreign Trade Ministry prepares an adequate draft,"
Mihajlovic said.
He reiterated the stand of the Council of Ministers that the current
oil dispute between Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina had been caused
by the Croatian government's decision to determine border
crossings on the Croatian-Bosnian through which oil imports can
enter Bosnia.
He said recent meetings on this issue had yielded results and there
was a possibility the dispute could be solved to the mutual
satisfaction.
If this does not happen, Bosnia will introduce new measures,
including new standards on the quality of oil imports and new excise
taxes on high-tariff imports, Mihajlovic said.
