"Croatia sticks by the measures it passed, and it is ready for improvements without bringing the road corridors model into question", the statement read. The statement, further on, said the government supported the part of the Council of Ministers decision referring to the control of the quality of goods and the implementation of European standards also applied by Croatia. Expressing hope in the development of partner relations with neighbouring countries, the Croatian government called on the neighbouring governments for support in the fight against crime and in efforts for the strengthening of environmental protection, the statement ends.
