ZAGREB, Jan 21 (Hina) - Bilateral relations and remaining open issues between Croatia and Slovenia were the main topics of a discussion between the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) president, Ivo Sanader, and the Social Democratic
Party of Slovenia (SDS) president, Janez Jansa, in Zagreb Monday. Presidents on the largest Croatian and Slovene opposition parties met for the second time in six months, and assessed Zagreb and Ljubljana have to cooperate at a level of Opposition, not only at the government level. "We have discussed the situation regarding the relations (between Croatia and Slovenia) and our parties' policies regarding Euro-Atlantic associations", said Sanader and added the HDZ and the SDS had a high degree of agreement on the issues since both parties "see Croatia and Slovenia as full members of the NATO and the European Union".
