He voiced disapproval of a recent increase in the price of bread and
added that his government would discuss the matter. Prices are formed
freely, but we shall see whether the increase in prices was necessary,
Sanader said adding that the ministers of finance and agriculture
would analyse the situation.
Asked by reporters about the transfer of authority between the
outgoing Ivica Racan cabinet and his ministers, Sanader answered that
it was proceeding smoothly and would be completed on Monday.
Sanader supported the plan of the city authorities to open a soup
kitchen in western Zagreb, too.
