ZAGREB, Dec 19 (Hina) - Editor Zeljko Sobol has published a book about the adoption of Croatia's first Constitution in 1990 which paved the way towards the establishment of democracy and independence.

the adoption of Croatia's first Constitution in 1990 which paved the
way towards the establishment of democracy and independence.#L#
Parliament passed the decision on the promulgation of the Constitution
at a joint session of three parliamentary councils on 22 December
1990.
Since it was passed just ahead of Christmas, that Constitution was
seen as a holiday present and was named the Christmas Constitution.
Sobol, who edited the book which will be presented to the deputies of
Croatia's new parliament, has been employed at a number of posts in
the 13 years of Croatia's multi-party system, from parliament
president's chief-of-staff to head of parliament's public relations
service.
