ZAGREB, Dec 7 (Hina) - The Independent Democratic Serb Party (SDSS) will support the Ivo Sanader cabinet if he accepts a seven-item document the party's main committee unanimously adopted today, SDSS leader and newly-elected MP
Vojislav Stanimirovic told reporters on Sunday.

will support the Ivo Sanader cabinet if he accepts a seven-item
document the party's main committee unanimously adopted today,
SDSS leader and newly-elected MP Vojislav Stanimirovic told
reporters on Sunday. #L#
The items refer to the human dignity and civic equality of Croatian
Serbs, refugee returns and reconstruction, the application of the
Constitutional Law on ethnic minorities, formerly war-struck
areas, a stable justice system, Croatia's admission to the European
Union, and cooperation with countries in the region.
The SDSS will present the document to the public in greater detail
by Tuesday at the latest.
Vice president Milorad Pupovac said he would hold talks with
Sanader very soon. Asked what would happen if Sanader did not accept
all seven items, he said it was too early to talk about that. Asked
if the SDSS would give Sanader at least verbal support for
tomorrow's talks with the president of the republic about the
appointment of the premier-designate, he said this could be
discussed today or after tomorrow as well.
Stanimirovic said the SDSS hoped to meet with Sanader by Tuesday,
when President Stjepan Mesic will receive all ethnic minority
representatives for all talks on the appointment of the premier-
designate.
Asked if the SDSS would be part of the new government, Pupovac said
the party was free to negotiate all elements of support to the
government but that it would be able to speak about that only when
the document adopted today was presented to the future prime
minister and if he viewed them as priority issues.
Stanimirovic said the SDSS felt that under the government's letter
of intent on the completion of eastern Croatia's reintegration, the
party was entitled to have four assistant ministers and two
advisors. He added the party concluded today the number of seats
should be expanded in the field of reconstruction.
Pupovac said the Serb community would like to have seats in
ministries but not on the ministerial level.
Asked if the SDSS had discussed Sanader's offer to Pupovac of a seat
in his cabinet, Pupovac said the offer was not sufficient to start
talks on the position of the Serb community.
The SDSS has won three seats in parliament at recent elections.
