ZAGREB, Nov 18 (Hina) - The association of refugees and displaced persons of Bosanska Posavina (northern Bosnia) on Tuesday called on all Bosnian Croats to vote for the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) at the November 23 parliamentary
elections in Croatia.

persons of Bosanska Posavina (northern Bosnia) on Tuesday called on
all Bosnian Croats to vote for the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ)
at the November 23 parliamentary elections in Croatia. #L#
The association said in a statement that the HDZ "is the party which
together with its people defended and created Croatia". The
association added that the party was now being led by Ivo Sanader
"the reformer of the party and the initiator of a new and modern
Croatia".
The association requested that people who fled Posavina be now
given the same right as Serb returnees in Croatia -- the right to
pensions, social protection, health insurance, the construction of
houses.
The association criticised the government for its lack of concern
for Croats in Bosnia, the criminalisation of the Homeland War and
war veterans, and a slow economic growth.
