ZAGREB, Oct 23 (Hina) - The National Election Commission on Thursday appointed permanent members of election commissions in all ten constituencies and in one designed for citizens with no permanent residence in Croatia.

Thursday appointed permanent members of election commissions in
all ten constituencies and in one designed for citizens with no
permanent residence in Croatia. #L#
The election commission in each constituency consists of a
chairman, two members and their stand-ins, who are chosen from the
ranks of judges and prominent jurists, two representatives of a
majority political party or coalition and their stand-ins, and as
many representatives of opposition parties.
Representatives of political parties will be appointed after the
November 3 deadline by which parties are to nominate their
candidates.
No extra commission is established for a constituency electing
ethnic minority representatives, which covers the entire country.
