LABIN LABIN, Nov 13 (Hina) - The head of the Social Democratic Party/Istrian Democratic Assembly (SDP/IDS) coalition list in constituency no. 8 and first candidate on the roster, Damir Kajin, said on Thursday going to the polls in the
upcoming parliamentary election was extremely important because the answer to who would govern Croatia would depend on a small number of parliamentary deputies.
LABIN, Nov 13 (Hina) - The head of the Social Democratic
Party/Istrian Democratic Assembly (SDP/IDS) coalition list in
constituency no. 8 and first candidate on the roster, Damir Kajin,
said on Thursday going to the polls in the upcoming parliamentary
election was extremely important because the answer to who would
govern Croatia would depend on a small number of parliamentary
deputies. #L#
Kajin wondered if this would be the right with Ivo Sanader at the
helm or the left centre with Ivica Racan at the helm and if Croatia
"will again become isolated or continue on the road of
development".
The second candidate on the coalition list, Gordana Sobol, said
that "Croatia is not in a crisis nor are its citizens spiritless and
depressive, as some would like to prove".
The IDS president and fifth candidate on the roster, Ivan Jakovcic,
said the coalition was a clear message that the SDP and the IDS were
the two strongest and most modern parties in Croatia and that they
could do a lot for the country.
