ZAGREB, Nov 12 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Wednesday took part in "Together in the Fight Against Addiction", a drive held ahead of the month of combating alcoholism, which lasts from Nov. 15 to Dec. 15.

In Zagreb's central square, Mesic gave citizens flowers and
leaflets with warnings about the hazardous effects of tobacco,
alcohol, and narcotics.
The drive was organised by Zagreb's Health, Labour and Social
Policy Office and the capital's Association of Alcoholics
Anonymous Clubs.
