POREC, Nov 11 (Hina) - A vice president of the Croatian Bloc and the first on the Croatian Bloc-Croatian True Revival (HB-HIP) coalition slate in constituency no. 8, Branko Luksic, said on Tuesday the ruling coalition had once again
betrayed Croatia's national interests by proclaiming ecological and fishing zone instead of an economic belt in the Adriatic.
POREC, Nov 11 (Hina) - A vice president of the Croatian Bloc and the
first on the Croatian Bloc-Croatian True Revival (HB-HIP)
coalition slate in constituency no. 8, Branko Luksic, said on
Tuesday the ruling coalition had once again betrayed Croatia's
national interests by proclaiming ecological and fishing zone
instead of an economic belt in the Adriatic. #L#
"Croatia is in deep economic and social crisis which is why I am
confident that the priority of Croatia's economic development
should be the country's maritime orientation," Luksic told a news
conference.
The president of Istria's branch of the Croatian True Revival and
the second candidate on the coalition slate, Ninoslav Mogorovic,
reiterated that the HB-HIP coalition was against Croatia's joining
NATO in 2006 and even later because "that whole process is not
adjusted with national interests".
