Boras heads the HDZ election headquarters in Bosnia. Croatian
citizens residing abroad vote in a special constituency, Nr. 11.
The Bosnian HDZ (HDZ BiH) has not proposed its candidates for the
HDZ diaspora slate. A senior HDZ BiH official said yesterday the
party would not put up its candidates because it was dissatisfied
with the positions the HDZ offered on the slate.
Boras refused to confirm there was a disagreement between the two
parties. "We want the HDZ BiH to be the strongest Bosnian Croat
party."
He said the HDZ candidates would be revealed tomorrow after four
P.M.
Boras announced that the HDZ campaign for the election of diaspora
MPs would begin in Sarajevo next week.
Responding to a question from Hina, he said that after winning the
election in Croatia, the HDZ would no longer govern Bosnian Croat
affairs.
