ZAGREB, Oct 20 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Monday received a delegation of the Hrvatska Rijec (Croatian Word) press and publishing company from Subotica in northern Serbia, the President's Office said.

and publishing company from Subotica in northern Serbia, the

Hrvatska Rijec is also the name of a weekly which this January
resumed publication in Croatian after nearly 50 years. The
initiative to resume publication appeared in 2001 after the change
of regime in Serbia-Montenegro. The weekly is funded from the
budget of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, its own sources,
promotional activities and paid advertisements. The Croatian
government has also contributed.
