Under the agreement, the two institutions will work towards further
advancing contacts between Croatian and German businessmen, and
the exchange of market experience and information.
The agreement was signed during today's visit of German Chancellor
Gerhard Schroeder to Croatia and the opening of the German-Croatian
Economy Chamber in Zagreb.
Vidosevic said the cooperation between the two countries and their
chambers was good, adding that the agreement and the setting up of
the joint chamber would advance it, particularly with regard to
long-term investment projects in industry, trade and tourism.
He said that between 1993 and 2002 Germany invested US$1.7 billion
in Croatia, which is 22.8 percent of all direct investments made in
Croatia in the said period.
