ROME, Oct 29 (Hina) - The ratification of Croatia's Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) with the European Union at a plenary session of the Italian parliament's Chamber of Deputies is imminent, Croatian Ambassador to Rome
Drago Kraljevic said on Wednesday after talks with the chairman of the Chamber's foreign affairs committee, Gustavo Selva.
ROME, Oct 29 (Hina) - The ratification of Croatia's Stabilisation
and Association Agreement (SAA) with the European Union at a
plenary session of the Italian parliament's Chamber of Deputies is
imminent, Croatian Ambassador to Rome Drago Kraljevic said on
Wednesday after talks with the chairman of the Chamber's foreign
affairs committee, Gustavo Selva. #L#
"Chairman Selva has told me he will try to have the SAA ratified in
the Chamber of Deputies by the end of the year at the latest. When
the Agreement will be put up for ratification depends on the work of
the Chamber, which is busy voting for next year's budget and for a
pension system reform. In talks with Selva I didn't get the
impression that the ratification might be postponed for other
reasons," Kraljevic said.
