"I wish to say that Serbia and Montenegro no longer have any
jurisdiction over citizens of Kosovo. We fall within the
jurisdiction of Kosovo institutions and the UNMIK (UN mission in
Kosovo). Thanks to the UNMIK and institutions of Kosovo, I have been
released and will be in Pristina at 1500 hours on Thursday," Qeku
told Kosovo television.
