international corridor for oil transport, remained still blocked this evening.
POZEGA, Oct 21 (Hina) - Workers of the "Kutjevo" agricultural
company, who on Tuesday morning blocked three main roads in Pozega-
Slavonski Brod County, unblocked two of the roads after 4 pm.
However, the state road at Gradiste, an international corridor for
oil transport, remained still blocked this evening. #L#
Vinko Jusic, who heads the disgruntled workers, said they held the
Croatian Privatisation Fund exclusively responsible for the failed
attempts to privatise the company, and demanded that the company be
privatised as a whole or that it be financially consolidated.
Economy Minister Ljubo Jurcic said this afternoon the invitation to
bid for the purchase of the company that had just been announced met
the workers' requests and that there was no reason for them to
continue the strike.
