ZAGREB, Oct 21 (Hina) - Croatian Public Works, Reconstruction and Construction Minister Radimir Cacic on Tuesday held a presentation on the strategic significance of Croatia's national programme on highway construction. The
presentation was held at the 22nd World Road Congress in South Africa, Cacic's ministry said in a statement.

On Monday, Cacic attended a session of transport and public works
ministers on sustainable development and the role of road
infrastructure.
The World's Road Congress, which is being held between October 19
and 25, is attended by more than 3,000 representatives of
governments, construction companies, financial institutions such
as the World bank and the European Investment Bank, world agencies
for road infrastructure development and mayors of the world's
capitals.
