"Had the minorities been allowed to have double vote rights, most of
minorities members would have voted for slates of some left parties
from the current ruling coalition, besides minorities' slates,"
Stanimirovic said in Vukovar on Friday.
The SDSS will stand in the parliamentary elections with its slate in
the section of minorities' lists, and its leader believes that the
party will win two seats. Stanimirovic also announced a fierce
struggle for a third seat.
He called on all ethnic Serbs, particularly those living in cities,
to opt for minorities' slates at the coming parliamentary elections
and vote for the SDSS as "the strongest Serb political party in
Croatia", he said.
