ZAGREB, Oct 2 (Hina) - Six pensioners associations on Thursday stated that they would run in the upcoming elections with a joint list of the Croatian Pensioners Party (HSU) and called on its members to go to the polls regardless of
their disappointment with the former and incumbent authorities.

To boycott elections, which is the option of many pensioners, would
be the worst solution because all future decisions would be left to
a small number of professional party politicians who are
increasingly losing the trust of the electorate, HSU president
Vladimir Jordan said.
Pensioners will put up candidates in all constituencies, including
members of pensioners associations, experts, business people,
entrepreneurs and other people who are not members of other
parties, Jordan said.
