WINTERSTEIN APPOINTS JAHIC AND BESLIC HIS ADVISERS ON MOSTAR

MOSTAR, Oct 7 (Hina) - Nobert Winterstein, chairman of the commission for the reform of the southern Bosnian town of Mostar, has appointed mayor Hamdija Jahic and deputy mayor Ljubo Beslic his personal advisers on Mostar. #L# Winterstein explained his decision in a press release on Tuesday, saying that the two officials had important practical experience regarding Mostar. Jahic and Beslic will work on the commission for the reform of Mostar as advisers and not as its members, Winterstein said. The commission was recently established at the initiative of the international community's high representative to Bosnia- Herzegovina, Paddy Ashdown. It consists of representatives of all six parties from the Mostar Town Council, and its purpose is to draft a statue on the unification of the town by December 15 this year. (hina) vm sb
