Arlovic could not state the exact day of dissolution, but repeated
that the parliament's priority was to adopt laws related to
European legislation, as well as bills which are in the second
reading.
These bills account for some 20 of about 70 items remaining on the
parliament's agenda.
The parliament tomorrow starts the third working week of its 37th
sitting, and will discuss the government's answers to the European
Commission's questionnaire on the basis of which the EC will define
an opinion about Croatia's application for EU membership.
Prime Minister Ivica Racan will hand the answers to EC President
Romano Prodi in Brussels on October 9.
