Parliament adopted the decision at the continuation of its 37th
session. Damage caused by droughts is estimated to amount to more
than two billion kuna.
After a recess, requested by the Croatian Democratic Union, MPs
should debate a motion on adding to the agenda a decision on
expanding Croatia's jurisdiction in the Adriatic.
Parliament President Zlatko Tomcic said should MPs fail to take a
vote on the said item, parliament would continue to deal with the
issue on Monday.
